Q: The latest wedding trend has been wedding barns. Why should a bride or groom consider the Hilton instead?

A: While barns are certainly beautiful, they create a lot of transportation considerations and often include event space only. The HGI can offer an all-in-one experience, hosting the ceremony, rehearsal dinner, reception, and farewell brunch while also housing all of your guests! Our ballroom features a built-in dance floor, vaulted ceilings, and a gorgeous view of the falls creating prime indoor and outdoor photo opportunities. All your guests have to do is check in to the hotel, no need to leave. In fact, there are even plenty of local businesses within walking distance for convenience.

Q: When can a couple start decorating the space?

A: The HGI Auburn does not host any other events on the day of your wedding, so the whole day is yours! You will have a day-of coordinator who can assist and help navigate incoming vendors.

Q: What food options do you offer?

A: Great question! We believe the food experience is super important to your guests, so we don’t make your guests choose meat, chicken, or vegetable. The HGI Auburn offers buffet style meal options, passed or stationed hors d’oeuvres, action stations, and more! This allows guests to eat when they want, how much they want, and have access to all of the different food options. The possibilities are endless and can fit any budget, as our per-guest cost can range from $50-$120 per person.

Q: Speaking of budgets, how can you help a couple who is financially conscious?

A: Our team is willing to work with any financial situation and set up a deposit schedule and/or payment plan that makes sense for the happy couple!

Q: How many guests can the Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch accommodate?

A: Depending on the layout you choose, we can host 150+ guests!

Q: In reference to layouts, what are the different options available?

A: We have seen a trend towards sweetheart tables, but some couples still opt for the full bridal party tables. We typically have round tables of 8-10 guests that surround the built-in wooden dance floor, with a bar and stationed hors d’oeuvres in the corner. Our team is equipped to accommodate specific requests, ranging from a DJ station to a full band setup!

Q: Anything else someone planning a wedding should know?

A: Yes, book a consultation! Our event calendar fills up fast and we love sitting down to give individual information based on your vision. We have contacts for any vendors you may need who are all very familiar with our property and events to take any stress out of booking. We look forward to making your wedding an easy, gorgeous, and affordable experience!
